`Collect Your Belongings” was a community project by Six Million Plus Trust to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day and Remembering Srebrenica. The refugee community of Kirklees worked in collaboration with community artists to share stories about a precious object which they would choose if they had to quickly leave their home to flee and find refuge.
Jasmina who originated from Bosnia and now calls Dewsbury home shared her story with me, and I had the privilege to design and perform her story through the art form of shadow puppetry.
